I can’t say I’m much of a royal watcher, my family having been in the colonies now for several centuries, and having never originated in the UK in the first place, it just doesn’t seem like a good fit. I’m also not sure how this will have any effect on my daily life. I suppose he will one day grace our coins, but then again I doubt we’ll be using coins by the time he ascends to the throne. I also can’t help but wonder what would happen if our current leader declared himself our rightful king because God told him so. Would we celebrate his offspring in years to come? Perhaps not.
